Last Market Day

Last Thursday was the last day for Victory Farms to have a stand at the Farmers' Market at 17th Street in Richmond, VA. It was chilly and we wore our fingerless gloves. Here are some shote of our produce on that day. Lovely green tomatoes that would ripen on the kitchen counter or be used for fried green tomatoes. delicious little carrots, lots of greens and potatoes. It was lovely. One customer brought us coffee at Koralee's stand and another gave us scones from Nancy Louise's stand.

We hugged our friends good bye in hopes that we'd see them next year. So long to all the yummy fresh veggies. The veggies will still be available at the market in Oregon Hill and Forest Hill Park, but I won't be working at those markets. We'll be far away, checking out markets in other places.
