I’m a life-long learner. Currently, I’m learning Spanish. I’ve been at it for a number of years and feel confident about my ability to communicate in that language. My French has gotten weaker, however, as I’ve not had much opportunity to use it.
I love to cook and bake. I love simple, good food. I eat fish and seafood, not much of it, but don’t eat meat or poultry. I’ve been this semi vegetarian for 37 years.
I’m an artist, currently making small works, primarily collages and water colors. I participate in the international community of Mail Artists. I love it. I make art, and send it to people. If you’d like some, send me your mailing address and I’ll put you on my “send to” list.
My family members, husband, two offspring, grand-girl, are all artists. Grand-girl is only just gotten to be a 4 year old but has sold 2 pieces of art already. (March 2017) Our dear DIL is a Yoga/meditation instructor, with very creative instincts.
We make stuff.
We have books by family members – Creative Sprint by Noah and Mica Scalin, 365 Make something everyday and change your life by Noah Scalin, The Artists Coloring Book (volumes 1 and 2) curated and produced by Chuck Scalin
If those interest you, check them out on-line.
Hope you like my recipes, by the way. Let me know if you try any of them and how they turned out.
